Description

Hawkins\Brown LLP, UCL Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, BuroHappold Engineering

Two years ago Hawkins\Brown, BuroHappold Engineering and UCL jointly presented their emerging design proposals for the re-imagined Wates House, home of the Bartlett School of Architecture. We promised a follow up and are delighted to offer tours around the school as part of Green Sky Thinking 2017.

The Bartlett School of Architecture is one of the best in the world, and we are proud we had the opportunity to create an inspiring home for their staff and students. From the outset our ambition was to create an improved environment for the School to continue its important work and this year’s theme of ‘people centred and environmentally aware buildings’ captures this approach perfectly.

Hawkins\Brown, BuroHappold and UCL staff will be showing small groups of people around the building, explaining the key architectural and environmental aspects of the scheme and answering questions.
